One great thing is that our little farm has had people looking and one offer to buy! We are selling as a short sale however, so we won't see a single penny and are just crossing our fingers that we won't have to write a check, to sell our property. Mostly we will just be relieved to be out from under it's smothering weight... Whew!
And for a nice surprise... Hubby picked up a local paper the other day and... Big B was in there! How exciting! He won first prize with his Christmas Story, "A Christmasaur Story".
"A long time ago, over 150 million years ago, in the world of dinosaurs there was a dinosaur named Santasaurus. Santasaurus lived at the North Pole. At the North Pole lived all kinds of creatures big and little. The most tiny creatures were the Elfasaurs. They were as big as a school folder.
The North Pole is the most busiest place in Dinoworld. Now Santasaurus was busy too. He works very hard making a list of good and bad little dinosaurs.
Oh no! It's Christmas Eve nad there is one dinosaur on the Bad List! His name is Scar. Now Scar is not just a bad dinosaur, he is a very bad dinosaur. He is a bad dinosaur because he is a bully at school. He does all kinds of mean stuff like pulling other dinosaur's tails, punching dinosaurs, pushing dinosaurs and calling them names.
Back at the North Pole, Santasaurus is flying around Dinoworld. Santasaurus forgot his good and bad list. So Santasaurus gave presents to every dinosaur in the Dinoworld, the good and the bad ones.
The next day when all the dinosaurs came out to play, Scar surprised everyone by being the nicest dinosaur on the playground. It was the first year that Scar had ever got a Christmas present."
