This is the first day of NanoWrimo! I'm so excited to start this adventure...
I'm sure you are wondering what NanoWrimo is. Afterall it isn't a word. It's not in the dictionary... And I didn't make it up myself! NanoWrimo stands for National Novel Writing Month. People from all over the world get together, in the month of November, to write a novel in 30 days. Impossible right! That's exactly what I think, but I'm always up for the impossible! The more people think it can't be done, the more I will try to do it. Yep, I'm that kind of person =)
Hubby is going to participate as well. He is really the writer of the family. I'm doing it to show him up of course! Well, he asked me to participate because he feels that will keep him going. He tried it last year and only lasted 2 weeks. I'm here to make sure he makes it to the end of the month! I'm up for the challenge...

I just might have to try this nanowrimo (did I get that right???) I do at least one post a day, so I won't be changing my habits, but I like getting involved with other people!
I love your layout and love 'Simply Fabulous!' They have a bird layout that I've been eyeing... so cute!

So, this NanoWrimo thing sounds pretty cool. Especially since I used to love writing in high school. I just might have to give it a try. Thanks for the info Mindy!

Go for it girlies!! I think it's going to be fun. My Hubby and I have been competing all day. He is now ahead of me in words, so back to Microsoft Word I go! We just had a wrestling match as to who was going to get to use the computer =) Of course I won... Hubby calls me "Bossy" Who me!? Geesh!
If he would just let me get my own computer this wouldn't be a problem... always a hidden agenda! LOL
Well, just one more question...is there a website to check out about NanoWrimo? Congratulations on winning the wrestling match! I am quite surprised, though, given Hubby's incredible tallness...LOL
